200 links that quickly is too much if you want to rank a website safely. It's normal to see rankings go down at first when you make drastic changes to the websites links or on-page content.

The biggest missing factor is what were your rankings before? Top ten? Number one? Barely in 100? The google 'dance' means many different things depending on where exactly you were. That would give us a better idea of what is going on.
tl;dr: Guy goes balls to the wall, has 200 low quality links built all at once, expresses surprise at ranking drop, wild speculation based on nothing follows for next 3 days.
