Ranking courses on Udemy.

Hi,
I published a course on Udemy related to webdesign. I have never worked on courses on udemy so this is my first try. After publishing my course, I gave about 100 free coupons on the udemy facebook group in the hope to maybe boost authority and rank on the course but nothing so far, my course is hard to find.

Does anyone here know any tricks on how to rank a course on Udemy?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

If it's a relatively unknown course, on your first few classes you could consider a giveaway for some students so they'll spread the word about your course. Give discounts, offer something special for your first students so they'll spread virally.

Also, try Reddit and other communities. Beginning a new course is not easy, as you could expect.

Consider launching your products with a JV with one of the top marketers. If your course is good, they will promote it to their email list and generate many sales for you in exchange for a percentage of your earnings.

You need to fix your course title and course sub title to use keywords that will be used by students so it can be ranked better. AS well, you need more than 100 students, better to provide at least 1000 free coupon first, as you do not have a competitive profile to other instructors with the same subject.

Create your own tribe to boost it, jv with some trusted in the market and build your own audience, Then your course will have a boost and Udemy will bring more customers to you, but at the starting point you have to work by yourself on your own traffic

My first course cam out this month and I'm at 4.9 rating with 50 or so students. You have to put out quality. I just submitted a blackhat Pinterest course today, should be interesting
