Ranking Checker Tool - which one?

Just starting my IM / SEO journey. I see lots of posts with graphs from ranking checkers etc. I wanted to know which one is the best and most widely used here.
I have no ranking anywhere yet so I wanted to start keeping track.

I see a thread right below mine regarding proranktracker.com , I suppose this is as good as any?

I like RankTracker, its quite fast. I have used before online services but I prefer to have the whole data in my computer.
 
Ok so RankTracker is a software that you run from you hard drive. I'll give it a try, I also tend to like the data on my computer as well - thanks! :30:
 
RankTracker is one of the SEO tools that came in Seo Powersuite, check out the downloads section...
 
Ranktracker ain't that easy to maintain. I prefer hosted solutions like serpfox or serpbook.

I think it depends on how each person is organized to work as well as tastes. I used serpfox and serpbook but never got used to them, I also had a few bad experiences with a few online services that disappeared , and with them my whole data , so I prefer to have that information in my possession. Maybe I'm a little paranoid about that topic...

Right, thats too bad you lost info, I can be paranoid too - I have so many duplicate files everywhere , off site back up, 2 external hard drives and my main hard drive. Its really silly how many backups I have of the same info.
 
I used seoadministrator. Can't say that it's the best, but i like it. It is easy
 
GO for seobook rank checker, it is an firefox extension download and install to your browser and then you can start tracking your rankings. It will track up to 200 results. Not only Google you can also track rankings for Yahoo and Bing.

My second option is for lxrmarketplace daily keyword rank checker tool, you can also track your competitor rankings for selected keywords and main benefit from this tool is you will get weekly keyword ranking report to your mail

They have a free version, so you should start with them. If you're not satisfied, go for another.
 
I use SerpBook.com. He's a member here and the price is fair. Been using it for probably a couple of years now and have been happy with it.
 
How is the rank checker in Scrapebox? It costs an additional 10$.
