Hi guys,

I am uploading my products to amazon at the moment for the first time.

I have a few very nooby questions about ranking an amazon page in the SERP's.

Do my products have an amazon homepage like a homepage on a site where I can setup a title tag etc. for general keywords.

So if I am selling furniture it would be "Wooden furniture | Huge range " and then I point my links at that url?

Thanks

Basically, you are correct. You can rank your Amazon product pages in the SERPS.

Do some research on parasite seo and you will find out more on how to do this...

Openceanside - set your product page as your target URL in one of your Linklure campaigns and make the settings as an aged site.

That will give you a nice bump.

Be warned , don't mess with Amazon they are good at catching out people if you are going to do it on large scale.

Parasite SEO, yes it works great. There are some risks though, wouldn't want to get catched by amazon.

Sorry maybe my question wasn't clear.

I meant when I add all my products do I have a homepage to my shop that I can link to or does it have to be an individual product page?

you mean similar like alibaba or aliexpress, i don't think so. but google it or maybe some other member help you out.

btw your best bet will be to optimize the product listing by researching the same products on amazon first hand.

on amazon and similar website, it's all about reviews and good sales which put the product at top for any keyword, cheers

No I mean when I upload my product will I have a main product category that I can SEO or do I have to link to each product.

So say I am selling cars will I have a main category called "Cars" or only pages like "Golf GTI MK4" etc.?

In general, using your example, you will have pages like "Golf GTI MK4"...

Having said that, if you are sales are big enough, Amazon will allow you to have a storefront of sorts where you can add a custom banner and have some categories.

You might be wondering, how big do my sales have to be? Probably around 1 million dollars per year, atleast this is what I have been told.

to get the url to build your backlinks to simply search in the amazon search bar for your ASIN number, then right click on the link when your product shows up and it will give you the url to your product..just make sure you remove everything in the url after your ASIN it's something like /ref=??. Make sure you are building links to the dp version with your product name in it and not the gp version from seller central

so you should build links to this url: http://www.amazon.com/Millionaire-Fastlane-Crack-Wealth-Lifetime/dp/0984358102

not this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0984358102

Great replies.

Finally got my store up and got 1 sale already.

Ok so I do infact have to rank a specific product as opposed to an entire category that I might have when it comes to amazon yes?
