Hey guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to rank without any kind of from me. Everything will be just writing and spitting articles everyday. Lets say 20 articles and then 1 each day?

How long will it take to rank for something like that?

It really depends on many factors.

You can check matthew woodward's blog. He tried this "no links building" strategy and it worked great for him. Hes also a member here.

However, you can avoid any link building strategies that might hurt your website, and just go for manual link building + social signals. This might work well for you.

Yet, nobody can ever give you eaxct estimations as there are way toooo many factors involved

If the competition is not too fierce, I would say go for it. I honestly believe that the
way to go is writing articles.

Lets us know how it works out for you.

yup if the competition is too low.

you can always try some social signal if there is some competition though.....

Just setting up a good silo structure with quality content, google authorship, register with Google WMT, using wordpress and some plugins, medium optimised onpage SEO adding social signals to the pages you creates goes a long way today..BUT..It takes more content/pages to rank today than it used to take..AND..building high authority links with decently clean 1st tiers to them will rank your page faster..We only use GSA and SENUKE for tiers to our first tiers all except our social signals are made manually..we saw a great increase in ranking after the october update..so I think we are on the right path.

It's really hard if you have a new website with no domain authority. Content is king and on page Seo definitely helps. But unless your domain has authority, Google will not continuously show your great content. You may initially rank high due to the freshness factor, but as that decays, its very hard to keep your rank.

I second Matthew Woodard. His epic story is very very very interesting and incredibly detailed.

Agrees...EMDs is definently not important today its better to buy an expired domain you can use or do a 301 with the ExpDomain after u rebuilt the old website added some fresh content and backlinks to a new domain thats brandable and perhaps contains 1 keyword out of the phrase you want to rank for..EMDs has lost all power..my 2 cent

Do I just go for any expired domain? Because most of the domains I find are very high priced.

Another question. Can my website have 5 main keyword or does it have 1 and sub keywords? I always had a feeling that main keywords depend on my personal choice but I am not sure.

If its not a highly competative niche go with a PR2-3 with as high DA and a sound backlink structure you can find..they dont cost much..buy from Godaddy auctions..but I read your last question to...it seems like you need to study some SEO..watch tutorials and research the web a bit more...google keyword research and niche websites

What he said. da da da

Search for expired domains in your niche daily you will find a gem if you do it right for some days

Godaddy closeouts will be a good place to look for expired domains, you can get some nice ones cheap.

I guess if your keywords are low competition, and you can get some substantial natural linking then it could be done. Otherwise, you should still really do some off site SEO, even if only a little IMHO.

On a scale of 1 to 10, i will say less than 1.

Use your initiative.

Make sure your on page seo is good. If you are good at promoting your post via social signals and get referral traffic to your site. Then, your site will automatically boost as it is getting authority status. Also, you need to create supporting videos as well to make as much referral traffic as you can. After all this, slight backlinks in the form of guest posting will help you as well.

there is a site ranking for one of my keywords with no backlinks seriously none, the on page seo isnt that great, and he has no social signals so what the hell try it stranger things have happened.
