This is my first post on here, been a long time lurker in the forum and have learned a lot but couldn't find any recent / directly relevant information on this!
So I've been building up my home service rank and rent site for a few months now and have started to get some first page results and feel as though it's about time to start looking for a client.
I plan on selling on a pay-per-call basis (& throwing form leads in as a bonus)
I'm not looking for this site to be optimised for profitability, I just want to prove to myself that this business model works so that I can replicate it.
My concern is that I live in the UK and chose a UK location to rank for, at first I thought this would make sense as the competition is lower, however, I'm slightly concerned that UK businesses will be far less willing to purchase leads and I may not be able to find a client in my local area (it's quite a small area, so don't have a huge selection of businesses to choose from.)
Has anyone had any experience with this in the UK? How did it go? How did you get (or not get) clients?
