rank keyword fast

You need to build quality backlinks to the site and it has to be gradual not sudden.

i put 1 foot in a bucket and add the url manually in google toolkit .

try....
ping the url
throw web 2.0 at it .
mention on a already indexed page .

Dude you first you need to provided some more information so that anyone can help you out in this.
I have questions regarding-
Are you done with choosing the best suitable keywords for your site?
Have you finalized the keywords?
Have you checked their competition or possibility of ranking in search engines?
Are you already ranking with them?

If your answer is yes for all the above questions then you must check what your top & relevant competitors are doing and how they are ranking on top with the same keywords. You need to follow & build up your strategies according to it.
If your answer is no then first you have to search the keywords with localations according to their local relevancy, competition and chances of coming in rank and then create strategies to and target the local audience.
