Facebook are ruthless, they will take these guys down im sure. Personally I don't like whos behind facebook and what Iv been hearing, I would quit but like most people im hooked..and theres some good money in staying on. Apparantly theres this new movie coming out based on Facebooks owner though that young dude with the last name starting with Z. He gets portrayed by some sour dude who was whipped by his girl who dumped him then goes on a drunken rampage to setup a social network and then gets all these chicks and goes for world domination...haha looking forward to the reaction when it comes out.

Goes to show how many people think it's too hard to keep their mouth shut and not post things that shouldn't be public, so they'd rather delete their profile altogether.

How hard is it to use a fake last name, strip your profile info, don't join pages/groups that would embarrass you, and set your privacy settings right using ReclaimPrivacy.org.

Definitely not quitting Facebook, especially not on the 31st of May. I'm going to be too busy getting drunk anyway. Maybe June 1st? Or whenever I stop making money...

Hey Ty, it took me a minute but I figured out you were talking about me.
I was referring to diaspora the open source social networking being started by 4 NYU College students who are for the USER being in complete control of their privacy/info. They have raised $176K in donations w/ 11 days until their deadline. They seem really anti FB & their privacy policy.

I google just diaspora, went to wikipedia real quick saw it may have some religious connotation, probably not the best choice of name on their part now that I know that.
Anyway, I thought everyone know about it, but I guess its still pretty new. I was tired of talking FB policy issues that day, & just posted that one word. My bad.
