Quick way to get Facebook Friends

This is my first post with an actual tactic so if this is something that is common sense and I'm an idiot, forgive me.

But, I have been using a really simple way of getting Facebook friends incredibly fast. Just log in and join some of the more popular groups like Farmtown or Mafia Wars or something and post on the wall something to the tune of

"Level 30 here will neighbor the next 15 people to add me"

These more popular boards will turn over posts every 15 minutes so you can post like 4 times an hour without getting caught as spam or anything. The friends literally come flooding in by the 100's.

It's a noobie method but...I'm a noobie.

Good job thinking outside the box without using an adder software. That's not too shabby. Basic, yes, but I'm sure a few newbies out there would love to hear this (just remember to give your own spin on it, because 5000 people saying this on the forums will kill it).

I've been doing this for a while. If you become a fan to a game like farmville, mafia vendetta, or anything that requires friends to unlock stuff, you get access to the discussion boards that have alot of "add me" type threads. Just jump on a few and get about 20-40+ for every thread you post in.

Yeah, I did this myself on myspace, using the overdrive and mobsters apps. Just hit up their forum, find a thread saying something like "list your account here and trade friend requests", sometimes they have software to add all the account names in the thread, you can get up to a hundred friends in the first couple hours.

this is a very obvious method in my opinion. oh and try to convince some high profile friends to pimp you, this is a good way to get adds although you would probably need to play the games for this.
