Hi i am RH
From my experience, AI has definitely leveled the playing field, but at the same time, it has made the competition tougher.
I started working in SEO at an agency in 2022, and one of my biggest struggles at that time was content creation. Writing articles consistently, creating different variations for link building, adjusting the tone for different niches. So I saw copy-paste content being used more, but when OpenAI created ChatGPT, it became everyone’s favorite and easy way overnight. Tasks that used to take hours suddenly became much faster. Even freelancers with less writing skills could quickly create structured, readable content. I’m one of them
But here’s the other side.
Because everyone now has access to the same tools, same prompts, same templates, average content quality has become very similar. It’s easier to produce content — but harder to stand out. Now the advantage doesn’t come from “who can write more,” it comes from:
- Who understands search intent better
- Who adds real experience or data
- Who edits and improves AI output instead of publishing it raw
- Who builds stronger brand trust and authority
So I’d say AI leveled the technical side of content production, but it raised the standard for differentiation. The real gap today isn’t tool access — it’s strategic thinking and execution.
