Hey,

how much do you think not being verified on Google affects SEO? I'm currently working on the site, and it's still in the early stages. I'm also tackling technical SEO in parallel, but I’ve tried getting the verification sorted a bunch of times, and it’s just not happening. My customer is super busy, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the hassle right now. Any insights would be awesome!

Thanks!

Verification itself does not directly affect rankings, Google can still crawl and index your site.

Google Business verification does not impact your website's SEO rankings directly. It's simply a process to confirm the legitimacy of your business for Google Business Profiles, which helps with local visibility on Google Maps and local search but it doesn't influence your website's organic search rankings.

Google verification (such as Search Console ownership verification, business profile verification, etc.) does not directly affect SEO rankings, but it is a prerequisite for many key SEO functions.

If you think your website isn't ready then its better to sort that issue out. Then create GMB for your local business.

And GMB doesn't effect your website SEO. It effects Local Map SEO.

Hey,

Not being verified on Google doesn't directly hurt your site's SEO. Verification mainly helps you access tools like Google Search Console, which gives insights into your site's performance and helps spot issues.

Without it, you're kinda flying blind but your site can still rank. If you're focusing on technical SEO now, that's a solid move. Once your client has more time, sorting out verification will definitely be beneficial.

For now, keep pushing on the SEO basics.

Not being verified on Google doesn't directly reduce ranking. However, without access to Search Console, it will be difficult to optimize key SEO aspects, monitor traffic, and identify issues. Indexing also will be challenging. So, it's best to complete the verification as soon as possible.

If your technical SEO is well-optimized in the early stage and your content is strong, ranking won’t face major issues. Keep trying for verification and seek your client’s cooperation.
