I've been looking into SEO and implementing what I've learn into my site. This are my current rankings, only seo services sent was 3-4 months ago web 2.0 and shorting urls and blasting them. Keyword in #19 is my main keyword for a somehow competitive niche in Spanish, #26 in my secondary keyword. 2 days ago I put meta description in all my pages, and categories. Another thing I did was put main keyword linking back to main page in all pages, even contact page. Example: Use the contact form below to send me an email. Click here MAIN KEYWORD to go back to the main page. Then I went to Google Webmaster and crawl all my pages. From this my main keyword went up 10 positions as you can see in the image above. So this is what I plan on doing and please tell me if this is a the proper way to approach finally ranking this site. 1. I'm going to be adding content. As my site is in Spanish what I will do is search for English articles on the same niche and translating. In each new article at the top of the article, sometimes bottom for diversity purpose, I'm going to be adding something like this: "Site name/Domain name is focus on MAINKEYWORD (linking back to main page) but today we will talk about how to etc" I will then share the article in Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and G+. And send additional socials. How often should I add new articles? Was thinking 2-3 per week. 2. What types of backlinks should I do to finally hit #1? If I rank this site hitting $500-1k+ per day will be pretty achievable. In the past I ranked a video #5 and was making $3-4k per month from the video alone. Spanish competition is not as hard as English market. My competitors are not adding new content to their site, neither was I until now, and my domain authority is higher than theirs. What they have is more Do follows than me and age on their domain. So please tell me if this is something that will work? I will implement it either ways as taking action is the best way to learn, but asking here as I know most of you have 1000x more experience than me when it comes to SEO and content.
