Seems like most ICO's are a big risk. All the ones I look into are asking 1 ETH to receive 'x' amount of coins when they go live, at 'whatever the market determines' for the price.

1 ETH is around $500 which seems like a ton of money to invest in something that hasn't even launched yet.

How do you guys feel about investing at the ICO level?

That is pretty much how it works. Can be extremely profitable if you pick the right ICO, as some of them have ballooned quite quickly when they hit the exchanges. With that said, there have been fewer ICOs immediately hitting exchanges with a higher price than the ICO price in the last couple months compared to the ICO mania this summer.

Thanks for your reply. I'm still learning all this but diving into it head first and swimming in knowledge every day to absorb as much as possible.

So I'm looking at ICO's and did some more research. Is the general consensus that an ICO should cost $0.10c (or less) per coin for it to have a decent chance at returning a profit at launch?

Looking at game.com right now as it looks like a decent project.

That's the best way to go about it. Do your own research and as much of it as you can stomach if you want to give yourself the best chance of your investments paying off.

As for the general consensus you mentioned, I personally have not seen that but I am curious where you have found that. As a disclaimer, I have not invested into any ICOs myself. When speculating on alt coins, I do so after they hit exchanges. Much less riskier, in my opinion, than hoping the market valuation is higher than the ICO price when the token hits an exchange.

Founded in China, 1 developer 26 yrs old, other game currency ico's doing not really well. The thing is with those in-game currency uniters is that for every game company in-game currency is the main source of long term income, and nobody will share this pie with any fucking ico ever.

Thanks for the info papasound. Will be adding that website to my reading material list for breakfast.

1. Buy bitcoin
2. As the price rises, take out your original investment
3. Leave the rest and let it grow
