Hey! First of all I apologize if this is the wrong forum section to ask, just thought it'd be okay here since it's the chill / offtopic section.

I got Jr VIP, and I am looking to open a Marketplace thread soon, and one of the rules is "you must provide the top tier package of your service to an admin" , in order to be reviewed and then approved.

This might be a dumb question, but do we have to provide that admin copy for free? The service I am aiming to sell costs me, and my profit from it is around 10-15% , so I'd like to be prepared if I'd have to pay the expenses from my pocket :)

Thanks in advance and I hope that I made my question clear

Yes it has to be free.

Asked, answered, closed and moved to the proper subforum.

It would be better if you ask a moderator through PM, describing your service exactly.
2 BHW moderators have answered your question above. But I want to add some more info.

If someone is selling a limited kind of thing like a good domain or a good site, then they don't have to give it to admins for free. In that case admins will check and make sure that you are indeed a real owner of thing you are selling.

I don't know what is your plan to sell. But if you have any doubts, PM a mod and describe everything in detail. I am sure they will be in better position to answer your queries and clear all your doubts.
