So Im planning to start a porn website for example Mario porn site.
What domain should I select

Marioporn.xyz

or

Mariox.com

Competitor already has matioporn.xxx ranked 1 for keyword mario porn

.xyz is the biggest shit domain ending you could go for. Always go for the .com domain - Mariox.com is fine

I would use prememium domains instead of cheaper ones.

Some people say having exact match helps SEO but Mariox.com is very easy to remember and very catchy. What do you think?

Yeah it might help you with SEO, but it is still possible to rank without having the exact match. If you (as a brand) wanna build trust to your audience then xyz is definitely a no-go. Overall it has a bad reputation because xyz are cheap and heavily abused. .com domains give you way more credibility.

This was true a few years ago but right now there's no proof EMD's have a positive impact on your SEO, no matter if they are premium or not.

I am personally not in the boat of thinking that your domain matters too much. Because if you have valuable content, people will find you regardless.

To say that .xyz is shit domains is false.

The parent company of Google, Alphabet, has the domain abc.xyz

To say that is a shit domain is wrong.

Focus on your content.

I think you should go with .com. A lot of people are not familiar with .xyz and they might suspect your website is shady. They will be more trusting if you have the traditional domain.
Still, I agree that the content is more important that the domain, so work on making it great.
