Question regarding backlinks (Ahref stats)

When I compare my site to competitor's on Ahrefs, I learn that the links in my blog aren't counted as "Do Follow" backlinks. I've written a whole lot of unique content over the weeks, but it's just not showing up.

Anybody had experience with this? Any suggestions? Tips?

What do you mean exactly? You should only be worrying about do follow when you are looking at inbound links from other sites pointing to yours. If tehy are do follow then technically they are more valuable to you.

Are you saying that you have build backlinks from other sites pointing to yours, and those links are no follow?

When you start talking about content you have written I am thinking that maybe you are meaning something different and you are misunderstanding the term do follow.

Can you just explain in a little more detail what the problem is and what you are aiming for.

I have a blogs (on-site and offsite web2.0) that I use to introduce or review new products.
These blogposts link back to sales pages. Simply a tactic a saw a competitor do.

When I analyze his backlinks on Ahrefs, he has 127 "do follow" backlinks from his blog.
When I analyze my backlinks on Ahrefs, they don't even show up. Neither the links from the on-site blog nor
the ones from the web 2.0.

So Im trying to copy the other guy's ranking tactic, but it seems as if my links are not being registered, let alone registered as "do follow".

If today you build a web 2.0 and then you analyse your backlinks on Ahref, definitely nothing will show up since your web 2.0 is not "index" yet. Unless your web 2.0 is not newly built then perhaps Ahref would able to detect your backlinks instantly. You need to do Social Bookmark to your web 2.0 to help them get index quicker. hope this helps

It's not the case. The blogs have up for weeks. On site as well as web 2.0 .

haha,i have my web 2.0 up for a month as well but none of them counted as backlinks. You shall do social bookmark to web 2.0 and at least 3 articles on each web 2.0.For example, About Us,Contact Us. OR submit all web 2.0 url to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?hl=en_uk
 
If your links aren't showing up in ahrefs, it just means that ahrefs doesn't know about your sites yet.

Google doesn't use ahrefs information to rank. Though ahrefs doesn't know about your site yet, Google certainly does (assuming your pages are indexed in Google). Type site:yourblog.com into Google, if they're indexed, then Google knows about the links on those pages.
