[QUESTION] How to get traffic on Pinterest?

I create nice pins, use good keywords, and post often. Joining group boards and staying active has helped me get more traffic from Pinterest.

Dont do this. Following people on pinterest doesnt work. You got to post good content. There is no workaround around that. Can you take a look at leaders in your niche and check what they are doing. That will give you some idea on what works .
 
In the beginning, you should focus on warming up your account to make it stable. Also interact a lot but don't follow others too much.

You should approach social media like a grown up. Follow the platform rules, and take advantage of the free traffic. Not get banned. Whats the point in spamming if you end up banned? Isn't it easier to just market something that is relevant and worthwhile in the right place, that people are happy to buy, instead of bothering them with spam, and HOPE they will buy? You don't buy through spam, why should others buy through yours?
 
You're likely not getting traffic because Pinterest needs time and consistency. One pin isn’t enough. Focus on creating high-quality, keyword-rich pins daily. Avoid spammy wording like “free XXX” — it can hurt reach. Also, make sure your niche aligns with what people are actually searching for.
 
You gotta stop relying on autofollow and one pin, mate. Pinterest ain't that easy. Do keyword research, design eye-catching pins, and post consistently. It's all about long-term effort, not quick hacks. Keep grinding, and the traffic will come.
 
Health, fashion and home decor niches perform well on Pinterest. You can promote CPA offers from these niches if you want.
But you need to follow Pinterest's rules and pin regularly. And keep the pins SEO optimized.

Focus on posting quality pins, optimizing SEO for those pins (researching keywords in title, description), attaching links, etc. Spamming follow doesn't make much sense.
 
You're likely being flagged silently. New accounts with CPA links and aggressive following behavior often get low visibility. Try warming up with aged or phone-verified accounts and using separate browser environments to avoid detection.
