Question for american expression

Hi, well this is my first post at BlackHat so please do not kick the thread because the title is a little unconvenient

I am in germany and quite a newbie to blogging. But because i want to grow my 'business' i am looking for new niches. i also want to try to get some traffic by international / american user.

Therefore i want to ask what kind of expression you use when you look for a particular product and you want to check the specs and user/buyer opinions.

I am asking this because i have an idea for a niche but need a proper domain name which will contain the expression i asked for. Do you guys have some suggestions?!

I know this is strange but maybe you want to give me a hand on that issue!

I see a lot of people add the word "review" to the end of the keyword to make the kind of sites you are talking about.

Say for example you are making a site about soccer balls, and your domain name is soccerballs.com, you would add review to the end of it and get soccerballsreview.com. hope that helps

well because i was thinking of exactly that word 'review' i was asking.
So you do not use the word 'test' or similar in domain names?!
Or is this also a proper word?!

If you are building a site about a tangible product (something that you can touch) then you want to use the word review or reviews.

Rock, you could add the word "test" but that is not very consumer sounding phrase, and "test" seems more related to information and serving up a site to someone who just wants some information. I guess it just depends what type of site you are making. If you are making an informational site that is not geared to people buying products then I would use "test", but if my site was made for people wanting to buy products then I would use "review".

If you like test then try it out because you never know... I was making some adsense sites and my 9 year old daughter says "Dad, how about the kids toy 'abcxyz' " I thought, sure why not, this thing has no chance of making a dime, but I get to spend some time with my daughter and we will build the site together, I don't care it is a throway of $8 for a domain name it will be worth it to do this with her... and wouldn't you know, this stinking site is one of my top adsense earners! LOL, just goes to show you that you need to test and try new things because you never know what will work.
