Question CPA and free offer

I personally don't think you'll make enough with TrialPay to make it worth your while. But testing it first is always a good idea.

Here's another way you can monetize:

Why not try bundling your software with a toolbar like Ask.com?

Or, check out w3i.com's InstallIQ solution. W3i is on the Truste.org list of approved adware sites. There's some other toolbars and adware type solutions you can bundle with on that list as well, so maybe you can contact them and work out a deal.

Lastly, you can check out the InstallShield install maker. They have a new value added service in their installer app that lets you automatically bundle the Yahoo toolbar within your installers, allowing you an additional revenue stream in your installation process.

You can also check out pay-per-install.org, but the software they recommend there would eventually red-flag your software and site. Better to keep it on the up and up for a white hat site.

Keep us posted as to what you decide.

Good luck with it!

Thanks will check out your info.
So far I have had 30 visitors and 1 made a complete trialpay and got more money back than I expected. Will continue to monitor and see if trialpay is worth it.
The guys at TrialPay also said only after 1k visitors will they give you input on how to better using their service.
Will keep updated

If you get 60 uniques a day, assuming half will share their private info, or even their email is a bit of a high assumption.

I think that having more like 10 to 20 percent is more realistic. A lot depends on how appealing you can make your software, and how well matched the visitors are to what you have.

Also, if you require something like a physical address, you are going to have less people follow through as well.

Test, test, and test! You've got a good thing going here :)

get you hands on godcpa or if you cannot afford it just have the offer iframed from one of the Jr.VIPs here. He owns godcapa and freames your offers for $5. Just look for him, don't know his username

Wow godcpa looks pretty good, I could pick it up, but is it from Warrior foru(m) only and does it work for most?

I also remember a product which locks a site and in order to open the site to download or access it the visitor has to complete an offer.
What is this called?

They did not stop selling GodCPA. They just changed hands to a new owner. I'd highly recommend checking into it more.

Also, one gateway script I know of that you may be referring to, DaBlackHat, is called Blackhat Codebreaker.

One other thing you may want to consider, make your installer ask the end users for their email and/or zip code, then the installer will send the info to a webpage that will auto fill the form and possibly auto submit it for you.

Just brain storming on that last one. Don't know if that is doable or worthwhile.
