I personally don't think you'll make enough with TrialPay to make it worth your while. But testing it first is always a good idea.
Here's another way you can monetize:
Why not try bundling your software with a toolbar like Ask.com?
Or, check out w3i.com's InstallIQ solution. W3i is on the Truste.org list of approved adware sites. There's some other toolbars and adware type solutions you can bundle with on that list as well, so maybe you can contact them and work out a deal.
Lastly, you can check out the InstallShield install maker. They have a new value added service in their installer app that lets you automatically bundle the Yahoo toolbar within your installers, allowing you an additional revenue stream in your installation process.
You can also check out pay-per-install.org, but the software they recommend there would eventually red-flag your software and site. Better to keep it on the up and up for a white hat site.
Keep us posted as to what you decide.
Good luck with it!
