Hey Guys,

I was using the Google keyword tool the other day to try and find a niche. I found a 3 word phrase that had 0% competition and around 18,000 monthly searches. Is this a good niche?

Secondly, if this is a good niche, would it be possible to use a blog for it?

when you search for the key word phrase in google do you get advertisers in the sponserd links? if so then yes.

A blog is perfectly viable option to rank for this keyphrase.

What is the key phrase? (joke)

I agree with grahamhead....if there are advertisers, it's probably profitable. No advertisers can sometimes mean there's no money to be made. But those are general guidelines...testing will tell you for sure.

Yup, if you think you found a good niche, then jump all over it now. Whats the worst that could go wrong? You don't get paid for a blog that gets no traffic?

I do very well by drilling down and finding the micro niches and even if there are not a lot of searches for these keywords as long as there are advertisers it will be profitable. And the more micro niches you can find and the more blogs you build for them the more you will make.

And you can do this with mainstream or adult either.

So, if there is a low advertiser competition %, but there are some sponsered links, thats a good niche?
