[QUESTION] Best antivirus software in 2024?

As the title says, wondering what you guys believe is the best antivirus software in 2024.

I am not only focus on the antivirus part of the deal but all the addons these companies are offering nowadays so a more accurate question would be which antivirus company is offering the best deal for your money in 2024?.

Kaspersky is easily the best one in terms of malware security, but do keep in mind that the company is Russian owned and could potentially be influenced by their government to do whatever they want.

I can't and don't even want to go to the politics of that, but felt like that is an important point to tell.

WithSecure/F-Secure offers a very good money-quality ratio if you do go with their Total package that includes AV, VPN, password manager + some other perks.

Their AV is not as good as Kaspersky, but easily one of the TOP 5 strongest ones.

Been using the Kapersky free version for over a year now and since then they have been pushing promotional deals and discounts on me to upgrade to one of their paid plans and made the decision to invest in a paid tool like this (hence why I opened this thread).

I used to have McAfee, now I have Norton & use malwarebytes as a second opinion scanner.

I believe if you aren't retarded like me then windows defender will probably be enough these days.
 
Malwarebytes - paid version.

That catches all kinds of stuff that some of the less-informed who post as well as sites that are out of line (this means you with the home page on your profile that makes my PC shake, rattle and roll).

Been using Malwarebytes along with Microsoft defender for years now without any problems.
