Question About URL Structure for Exact Match Domain

Hi all, I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this.

Here's my issue....

I'm building a new website with an exact match domain.

The pages of this website target some of the same keywords as my EMD.

Example:

Domain Name: dogsforsale.com

Page name: dogsforsale.com/bulldogsforsale

Page name: dogsforsale.com/dobermansforsale

Pagename: dogsforsale.com/rottweilersforsale

Or....

/bulldogs

/dobermans

/rottweilers

This is a perfect example of my situation.

Which URL structure would you use?

I vouch for this one.

I don't like using the same word/part of keyword twice inside URLs. In this case sale.

I'll go with this. But the respective page title should be Bull Dogs for Sale.

Google should already know what the website is all about.

URL structure should show what's happening, permalink is where description goes

Yep, this is what I have done.

But my website isn't live yet, so I still have time to change URLS if I need to.

This is why I'm asking what you guys think before my website goes live....

Yes, to me it's over-optimized.

There are instances where I would double use the keyword or parts of it but not here.

How do you actually state that /bulldog belongs to your site instead of any other, let's say Craiglist?

Go with the cleaner structure: /bulldogs, /dobermans, etc. It’s more user-friendly, easier to remember, and still keyword-rich without being spammy. Google prefers natural, concise URLs.

I'd also vouch for this one, but if your exact-match domain does a good job of laying out the niche your blog is targeting, the URL structure isn't really that big of a deal. What's most important for google is understanding what niche you're focused on and whether your content is helpful and engaging.

Yes all content is niche focused which should make life easier.
