Setup a new gmail just for the store as well.
But it's going to cost me a lot, $29/month for every store (and if i upgrade the plan it will cost $79/month)+ the cost of the apps... so there is no option to open more than one store from one account?
I just signed up today for 14day trial and just start getting ideas on how this stuff works, yes $29 is nothing if you're making a lot of $$$ but as you said it's better to focus on one store first. another question: is it a good idea to promote different products from different niches in one store? or i should focus on one niche? But really if a store isn't making $ within the trial period (there's a link floating around here for a 60 day one), it's not going to make money anyways.
My opinion is to focus on one store. If it makes money, scale it. If it doesn't within the trial period, dump it.
If you have a good concept, the $29 is nothing.
If the $29 bothers you, your store sucks.
Good luck op!

Dump your current store.
Sign up for a 60 day trial.
Just my opinion, but I'm a big fan of the niche concept. It can be a fairly broad niche with related categories, but I want to see a theme in a site/store.
If you are a monster like Amazon/WalMart you can sell anything, but for us peons it makes sense to have really related items that compliment each other.
As a highly experienced eCommerce seller and consultant I'd also recommend to go with the niche instead of a general one. My personal success with niches was WAY higher, many partners, clients and friends faced the same.
I also made a video about this exact question on my YouTube channel, maybe you find some additional inspiration about the question there:
Nice video. I know that this is a late post, but I appreciate your message and the time that you took to make it.
