Hey fellas,

I get traffic from CL ...then email them to go to a blogger landing site...and tell them to click affiliate link to the CPA site.

So is CL>Landing Site>CPA offer

The referrer should be the landing site right? The AM or ad company won't be able to find out that the traffic is from CL right?

This way the traffic will look very kosher yea?

Thanks in advance for helping a noob out :)

Well yeah the ref will be the blog, however the surfer (or someone looking to report you as spam), will still see your affiliate link, and know the source of your traffic going that route. You could use another layer of protection via link cloaking.

You should check out the plugins by a user here Brad, don't have his full user name handy. CPA-Redirect and CPA-Framer, he gives away version 1 on his blogs. Both work great for what you are doing.

thank you! But how do I do link cloaking? I've searched the forum already and I am still clueless... the farthest I got was dl ing gc affiliate cloaker and I got confused when the readme file said to.... '3. Click on ‘Create Page' and save the file according to how you want your link to be cloaked. For instance, if you want to cloak a link as http://www.gur u creation.c om/hostgator.htm, save the file as ‘hostgator.htm'. Thereafter, upload to your server.' What does it mean 'to upload to your server?' I don't have a server or even really know what that is.

What I want is for the surfer to click on a link to my cpa offer and not see my aff ID.

Sorry for being so noob!:o

I think you have a lot of reading to do..this is about as basic as things get with internet marketing.

Server = where your web site files are hosted..you usually upload them via FTP.
