Question about ranking a brand name with low competition keywords

Hello BHW..

I hope this is the right place for me to ask these questions. If not, my sincere apologies.

I am not an so expert but I have some knowledge about keyword research and SEO.

Recently, I came across a major celebrity blogger in one of the tier 2 countries. He's name is a keyword by itself with an average 100k-1M monthly searches and so are most of the other keywords he's ranking for.

What's surprising is ALL over 300 keywords are low competition. So I made a quick list of about 10 keywords with one long tail keyword, created a YouTube channel and in less that 30 minutes I was ranking on those keywords (BTW number 1 to 3 in for 3 of the keywords) out of thousands of search results. One of the least ranked keyword was as number 42 out of over 200k results.

Then the idea hit me to make a website and rank for those keywords.

MY QUESTIONS:

1- considering this is a well known local celebrity, is anything wrong with me ranking using his name? Probably naming my site partylikeCELEBRITYNAME.com. or its better for me to use an unrelated domain name and rank my pages with the keywords?

2- I do not think I would make good profit selling affiliate products to the country (based on my research). Is it possible for me to promote CPA offers then?

You honestly rank quick for the low comp keywords because you’re piggybacking/parasiting on YT for those Kws.

I’m sure having same on Authority websites would get you almost same result..

Working with a new domain could be a way consuming as it needs to go through big g sandbox and stuff .. What about an expired domain ? What about parasiting top Authority pages which would easily give you good /fast exposure?

CPA seem solid as you can create a fake lander about the Local Celeb and let people think he’s doing a Free giveaway.

Let say a Free signed shirt or something related that people will be dying to get from the celeb. Link it with OGads and see your money grow like grass

And about the expired domain you advised. It sounds interesting. Only that it's about to make me ask more questions if you don't mind. I don't know anything about expired domains (i'll research about it) but what's the difference between using the expired domains and me purchasing a domain like CELEBRITYNAMEgiveaway.com?

I was thinking having the keyword in my domain would help seo. Or is there a way to link the expired domains to the keyword?

I actually searched on Google and I'm ranking on the 4th page for one of the keywords. This is also to note that I haven't sent any view, like or comment to the channel yet.

Buying expired domain makes you rank faster on SERP... Because they have links built to them over years. There are ups and Downs in picking an expired domain and if you new and honestly don't want want to go through the learning process; You can reach out to @Nargil - He's pretty solid in helping out.

You can either go with Branded/Kw domain - Website authority only count.

But like I said, he is a local celebrity and his name is the brand. And finding an expired domain to name would be impossible. What I think I should do is find expired domains related to what he offers instead.
