    Hey guys :)

I have a question about traffic generation from pinterest. I have two profiles with about 600 followers in total (I know, almost nothing), and I got several hundred pins per account. However, I only have linked the product images to my website and haven't touched the normal pins.

Some time ago, I have read that many actually link back to their website with every single pin... my question is, if you have any experience in doing this? Did it have a positive effect? I wonder, because I'm not sure if the traffic really would be worth-while, considering that it probably isn't what the user expects when he clicks on the image.

Did it have any negative effects? Maybe even getting banned from pinterest? I just want to make 100% sure that it's a smart thing to do, before I do it.

I hope you can help me out :)

Thank you very much in advance.

    warm regards,
    Michael

Yes your account may be suspended any time, when you will start getting more traffic or repins, so more pinners will interact if any one of them will report to pinterest that your pins are not redirecting to original content, they will examine and since you are doing same your account will be suspended

All content that you pin should link back to the original source material. Linking back to your site won't help you, it will just annoy people.
