I just searched for a question:

What is the oldest language in the world?

The Tamil language is from India and it is the oldest language in the world but in India, it is not the oldest. It's irony. How smart Google is!
 
Its all about keyword density.. :P but not why they optimizing like this!
 
But what do u think which is oldest language Sanskrit or Tamil??
 
Well, it's true in a way because Tamil is not only used in India but in countries like Sri lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Fiji, etc..

The first snippet got ranked because the website which optimized it is very high authoritative, however maybe based on your location it could yield different results but that depends.
 
You can see that for both questions, the answer is from the same journal site.
Yes, but the first one is optimized for the 1st keyword, and the second is optimized for the 2nd keyword.. that's it! So, the Google result can show for respective searches only..

In fact, that journal is smarter than Google :P
