So when I setup my PayPal account, I was under 18, so I lied about my birth date and put 1992 rather than 1995. I turned 18 about 4 months ago and I just noticed the wrong year, and I was thinking I should probably get that straightened around. I was wondering, if I contacted them about that, do you think they might try and like close my account or something? I don't have any money in there (besides like 12 cents) and I would really like to get things accurate so I won't get into any trouble down the road. What are your guys' thoughts?

It might be possible to close the account and reopen one with your real birthdate. Or you can CALL, always call when dealing with Paypal, and say that you just noticed the date was wrong. All paypal cares about is money, so I don't think they will give you hell.

you should also read the TOS before you make a move.

it wud be better if you just shut down the account and create a new one after a week with accurate details

You can always mail/phone them and say you have noticed your BD is incorrect for some reason and ask them to correct it. They might ask you for some document to prove it, so be prepared.. Also make sure to withdraw any money out of your account upfront as if they notice you just turned out 18 and your account is way older they might limit your account..
