Question about instagram names

Hello i am interested on this.
i want an username and i look on instagram is not available since 2013. Is it possible to get that usernàme or how does it work. I am very interested and i need it. Thanks

What do you mean by unavailable? It is taken or not taken but still you cannot register that username? If it's taken the only way is through contacting the owner, otherwise, I'd try contacting Instagram directly.

Instagram does not release those names. They claim that they remove inactive accounts from time to time but I've rarely seen that happening. At least with the usernames I wanted.
Choose another username. You can use . or _ or you can add 'A' 'the' 'official' in your username.
Another option is to hire someone who claims to make available inactive usernames but I've never seen their rates to be reasonable.
