Would like to know is there any harm in SEO if you are using another websites <img src (scraped) rather then uploading it to your own server this might be little confusing but hope you understand.

You need to check the DAPA and spam score of the source website. If that's good then its a good practice to use its source.

Not usually a problem seo wise. But what if the sites block cross domain hot linking, or what if they go offline. Your images are very likely to disappear after some months/years. Host them on your site or use a CDn.

Yes no real issue SEO wise, but potential other issues.
It's much better to host on your own server and call it there.

Use Shopify or similar for a free CDN.
