Yeah, using a traffic campaign with a landing page is a good idea. You can't directly link to WhatsApp from Facebook ads, so landing page works. You give value on the page (like exclusive content) and then link to the WhatsApp group.
This method keeps it safe and helps you grow your group.

A landing page + traffic campaign is actually one of the safest and most effective strategies


You can run Facebook/Instagram traffic ads to a simple landing page, explain the value of the group (tips, deals, signals, etc.), and place the WhatsApp group invite link there. This avoids Facebook restrictions.


Other strategies that work well:

  • Share the group in relevant Facebook groups
  • Use Telegram/Discord communities to funnel people
  • Add the link in bio on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
  • Offer a freebie or exclusive content to encourage people to join

So yes — ads → landing page → WhatsApp group is usually the safest scalable method.
