BHW Hello community.

Today I want to express a doubt about the positioning of google ... way to tell what happens to me ..
I have my site being http://www.xxxxx.net, right? The situation occurs when I search with the keyword of the page and my website is located at 5th pagination in G.com... Now, my partner at my side, it also looks the same G.com key and the page appears in 1st pagination .... COULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?? i know that google have millons of machines... but.. i dont understand...
BHW Thanks for everything! I love this place.

PD: sorry about my english. Thanks people

I'm not sure i understand you correctly.

If you mean you and your friend are both getting different results...

Google will serve each person a different result depending on where each person is geographically located. (even within the same state province, etc.)

Same thing if you search for your keyword using different proxies, you'll notice different positioning.

the best thing to do is find a tool/service you like, and measure your results on that one consistently.

Google uses different factors to bring up relevant results that you've been searching for over a period of time. This makes your website come up different according to your habits. It's best to search through a proxy or use a third party site like: http://searchenginereports.net/

There are two things going on here.

1. you and your partner are probably going through different datacenters and getting different results.

2. One of you is getting personalised results.turn them off

My best suggestion for accurately determining g results is loading up the dreaded IE then turning on inprivate browsing THEN doing google search.

(hehe you said pagination)

yeah i said pagintation hehe, but i apologies for my english too hehe..
Thanks everyone! Now is much more clear on "Searching Results"
