Dose getting a backlink form general niche PBN affect rankings!

That PBN have good SEO metrics good DA, DR, Rd but the thing is it's irrelevant to my niche, my niche is tech

Iam asking this because I read about this In some articles, like " getting a backlink form irrelevant site will affect your rankings! so want to know this statement is true or not

Hello buddy,
Your question on this topic is right.
And for your information, there are pages in almost sections of primary niches in quality PBN's.
If you wanna links from generic PBN with good metrics related to your specified category, you can make sure with the OP to post links in related or techpage.
When your query or suggestion is strong enoughand the OP really doing a quality PBN and respects his clients, so he will do the needful or clarify you with proper answers.

So be clear in demanding or else better go for NichePBN
Good luck

If you feel, the generic PBN affects your ranking, then you can also demand the seller to place the article in the relevant niche. No OP can oppose your suggestions. Or you can choose Niche PBN as well.

Mostly, General niche sites doesn't affect your site if general one has good metrics. It will give improvement in your site ranking. If you want general sites, just ask op to create category as tech for your site links. It depends on your requirement. But I am sure that it will boost your site ranking if those domains are high quality with good metrics.
But prefer niche tech based sites with good metrics, It will improve your site ranking also.

it won't affect your rankings lol. In worst case scenario (which I assume will happen) is that it won't improve your rankings AT ALL! But even then, it will increase your domain's authority a little bit, which is not bad.

Any domain with reputation will affect positively your site. PBN's are founded based on this. Even niches which are not expected are worthy if they have enough reputation.
Imagine that Poker Stars sends you a d0follow link to you pets site. It will be so precious.

With a general site they have in their portfolio, the seller can usually find a related tech angle or article, just be specific that it has to match those requirements, and hopefully they can accommodate.
But a link is a link after all, and think if you look at how the web is organised without direct manipulation, some of the loosest connections are made between sites, in terms of context.

It really should be measured by the quality of the sites they use, and what results other people have got from using them.

Cannot find the case study, but a legit normal website (no link building whatsoever) have barely 40-50% links from the same niche. Its normal to have links from general and not related websites if you want (and you should) your link profile to looks normal. So no, no problem whatsoever.

They work, but not as good as relevant domains links,
they basically pass less juice/power, which can be much better from a similar but relevant domain

Yes they do work if the content is totally related to your topic.
You can find niche relevant PBNs too but they cost more.
