Hi all,

I have a POD store and I have spent over $500 with almost no sales nor add to cart.
I have been doing Drop Shipping for quite sometime so I know what I need to do in order to make sales but I feel that I'm missing something in Print On Demand.

All the Drop Shipping gurus on Youtube recommend to do a "Purchase" Conversion Event, from the start.
I barley have add to cart and CTR is really low, so I was thinking on doing "Add to cart" Conversion Event.
I started doing this yesterday and I already got more Add to Cart then all the campaigns that I did before.

Is it a good method for a eCommerce store?
After I receive around 100 Add to Cart, I will change the Conversion Event to "Initiate Checkout" and after I get 100 "Initiate Checkout", I will change the Conversion Event to "Purchase"
What do you think?

Thank you

That's the way to go

If you don't have enough events for Purchase, go for the one above (Initiate checkout). If you don't have enough events for Initiate checkout, then go for Add to cart

Otherwise you are going to spend way too much money and time until you get your learning done

How many Add to Cart should I get before moving to the next event?
I have now 67 ATC and 19 IC.
Can I move to IC?

The learning phase is 50 events per objective. You can follow the progress in the Ad sets tab

You can move to the next event if you reached this number and if your IC increases correctly

Thanks ! Will try that

It also depends on your offer. Whatever you chose to optimise for you will get. If you optimise for ATC, you will get a whole bunch of that or IC. It's like when google wanted us to bid broad because it spends more same like facebook they want you to start with the early steps of your funnel so that you spend more. Just go for what you want to achieve on your site. But bear in mind, if doing purchases make sure your offer is good otherwise it wont work as it's the final step of your funnel, so it would be the hardest.

So basically we have here two opposite answers !!! One guy says 'you should get events triggered 50 times at least then move on next step' and another guy says 'whatever, choose the conversion event you want then go on'.....

I am personally exactly in the same sh***y situation, no one can make it clear wether it's important set one conversion event that 'converts' or to set one conversion event that coreesponds to your business goals. That's a mess of time and money.

Personnaly i tried the 'purchase' conversion event, but only one sell after 300 visits... Then 'add to cart', around 25 add to cart, but zero sales. Now i try 'add payment info' but only one payment info.... I really don't know what to think with this parameter.....

Any clear info about the RIGHT WAY to proceed ???

Thanks

Then there seems to be a problem with your offer / funnel or even your targeting, it's hard to tell if we haven't looked at it. Also remember facebook is a vehicle to an end result. It's your role to structure the best kind of offer for your product or service, not facebook. All they do is put your offer / funnel in front of people who will most likely react to it.

Yeah well, some guys sell same stuff as i do, same price, awfull website, and have good results (but they have more 'data')... Some other guys sell much cheaper... That's really difficult to know what right and worng i can only fix problems one by one, and at least, i know there is a problem with that 'conversion event' setup where no one seems to agree on what to do....

I tried to lunch Conversion compaign for purchase directly, so this means i was wrong right, and it was red when i choosed itr, so i must aim for Add to cart first once i reach 50 add to cart i target for purchase is it like this .?
and for ad should i use picture or video ?

I read and checked a lot about it and most of the majority of people recommned to start from a purchase event because you want to get a conversion

I go directly with purchase event, and that works on all of my campaigns. You just need to focus on bringing purchases event, thats the last step of your sales funnel.
