Question about Ezine... and links

Hey fellow bhw members.

About a year ago i tried to push some clickbank products writing articles related to the products, and by leaving a link to the product. I was a newbie back then, and for what article submission matters, i still don't understand the "rules"

I wrote 15 articles, and got ALL my articles taken down because i had a link in the bottom of the article to the clickbank product (cloaked links). My articles stayed up for 1 week before they got taken down, and i'm still wondering why they where taken down.

So what is the rules in this game exactly? I see a lot of articles on ezine with links to other webpages.

You gotta put the link in the author box only.

I did that, but still, the articles got taken down.

Taken down? You must have got reason at your article dashboard. Was the cloaked link a tld?

Odds are that you are sending your reader to a sales page and not to a page that offers quality information. Build a site and direct the reader to that site that has a link to the CB product.

It is not wise to use backlink directly in your article, because some of the article directories don?t admit it.

You can use the backlink in your article in a technical way. You can use the trick is that you can explain some features of the product and advice the reader to check about it more details through a link. And you shouldn?t build a direct sales page that is backlinked directly to your article.
You can use another site for featuring the product and the site should be backlined.

And most of all my recommendation is read the rules and regulations of directory carefully before using it.

Ezine will only let you link to a cb product page if you do a redirect from a tld. Thats acceptable to them and thats what a lot of people do. They will not allow you to direct straight to a CB sales page, cloaked link or no cloaked link. you probably got away with it for a week because one of the editors never bothered to check the links or someone reported it

No salespages!! Ezine is really careful about things like that, it prevents the site from becoming one big commercial. They want you to write articles that provide useful information, but we all know why we really post articles on Ezine.

That's right. You need to build a site, say blogger or hubpages, where you promote your affiliate links. The idea is not to directly point your ezine's author biography to the CB page or the like.
