The www has better metrics, I would really prefer to not use WWW. Should I just 301 redirect the www to the non www? Will the link juice pass well? Or should I just suck it up and do the WWW?
Ok so from this I basically took that I can make my new domain have no WWW and still get all the authority transferred, I just need to 301 redirect subdomains.
Almost all of the authority. Its always better to stick to the original URL tho, not a big difference, but still.
Well, it's only up to you. If I would be in your case, I will choose the strongest one, in this case - the www one. But, if you want to invest money, work and time and make the non-www version stronger enough, it's your choice.
Well the domain I got actually had like 10 different subdomains all with various levels of authority. The WWW was only like the second highest, but the highest one wouldnt be usable for my niche. So I will just redirect all of them to the non www domain.
