Hey! So I have a domain about fashion. Its pretty neat. I own it at DynaDot.. If i put it into namescheap search.. they are asking about 3.2k $ for it...

So my questions is..
1. How can Namescheap ask a price about a domain that I own?
2. How do I actually sell it?

They take a fee to negotiate a price with you, this means that if someone wants to buy your domain they will get in touch with you for a fee.
The price is to draw attention.

Oh so, if someone buys it on namescheap for 3.2k, what happens then? Namescheap contacts Dynadot (because I have set it to private) and Dynadot contacts me for transfer? What about the money? If I agree to transfer it to Namescheap's buyer, what is it in it for me?

I don't work with namecheap, so I cannot comment on how exactly process work, but you can check service description for details.
Godaddy offers similar service where they contact the domain owner and negotiate the sale (for the price), that's basically it.
The price $3.2k is just a number, probably what they mean is that this is the value of the domain, but this doesn't mean someone is going to pay that.

If your domain has private registration they will send an email to the company who provides privacy. Privacy doesn't mean you're unreachable, the company will just forward email to you.
