Query String URL Link Juice

    If a site links into your site by using a query string, does the link still hold the same value? Any value at all? For example, if http://www.sears.com/search=mens shirts was the link target, would the benefit be greatly diminished as opposed to going to the home page or category page?

    16 views with no replies? Somebody's got to have an answer on this, I was almost embarrassed to ask since I feel like I should already know.

    Yes it holds value because the query string translates into a url with relevant content.

    Nowadays, query string URL's are ranking pretty well.
