I've written an article on articlebase, which will NOT let me use my affiliate link to promote my product whatsoever.

Anyone have an idea about how I could get around this? I hate to have my article go to waste...

    1. Buy an info domain for a dollar.
    2. Put a one page website on it.
    3. Submit an article.
    4. Wait until it is approved.
    5. Go to you domain and redirect it to your affiliate offer.
    6. Profit.

Lol I was thinking of that idea as well, but the only problem is it wont work because I'll be submitting additional articles.

You can create a new link and put up a temporary article there instead.
For example, the first time you submit an article, you use this URL:
    http://example.com/
Then you create another page, put an article on that, and redirect after it's approved.
    http://example.com/page

It shouldn't be a problem if you're using anchor text (so it won't affect your visitors).

Install an URL shortener on this domain or pages like Dex suggested.

If you currently have a wordpress blog, you can redirect your affiliate links using GoCodes plugin. For example, if your blog is http://www.blogblog.com, you can redirect your affiliate link using GoCodes like this - http://www.blogblog.com/visit/product. It looks like a link to your blog, but when someone clicks on it, they will be redirected to the product you're promoting. This method has worked for me.

Well, guys... I tried it, and articlebase said the link was broken or dead, which I evaluated myself as true.

I can't think of any reasons why this would happen, though. Help guys?

I agree. Just redirect after it's approved.
