Hey guys. So I've been reading up on methods to phone verify accounts. I've seen in multiple threads people talking about using real SIM cards. It sounds like they're getting the SIMs for less than a dollar each in most cases. Out of everything I've read, however, I've seen very little info about what specific kind of SIMs to buy. I went ahead and bought some AT&T cards on eBay, but found out I would need to activate them before even receiving a phone number.

Anyone care to share what type of SIM card works for this? Do they need to be prepaid, postpaid, pay-as-you-go, etc? Specific vendors? Any insight into where PVA services generally get their numbers?

I'm not very knowledgeable about SIM cards in general, so please ELI5. Thanks!

all sims need service for USA. I use textverified and when I asked them, they have business agreements in place with the US mobile carriers to supply their numbers.

Ah, ok. Guess I'll approach the carriers and see how far I can get. Thanks.
