You want us to tell you how we make money online and then we get to split it will you. Sounds like you are going to have to sell yourself better than this. How much are you willing to escrow to back this? If it is anything less than 10K I don't currently see what value you bring. With a team of internet marketers covering hosting costs is a non issue.
i dont see anything wrong with this suggestion. nothing at all.
plenty of successful IM'ers are sick to death of hearing their own voice and regurgitating their own thoughts when they'd quite like to have a sounding board of like minded entrepreneurial souls to point them in a slightly different but much more effective direction when theyre running into brick walls or not making the FAST kind of inroads they'd like to in a new market or with a new opportunity.
running your own business has many many advantages but one of the biggest disadvantages is working completely alone.
being accountable to nobody but yourself is fine for some, but a drag for the majority and by that, i mean that you dont have to raise your game in the same way that you would if you were operating in a more structured environment and had external deadlines to meet for partners that were more important than another bacon sandwich / game of COD / a mammoth post on a forum (ohhh the irony).
maybe this idea wont get off the ground in its originally conceived form, but if it brings a few good people together in a team environment, id say its got every chance of being a success. all the o.p. is doing is floating a concept in front of you.
if youre invited, go to 'the meeting' and ask your questions of him and the other applicants, get yourselves an agreement sorted out that youre all happy with. get a first project underway and as the saying goes 'fail fast' so that you can measure, learn and improve the way you can work together and then move onto the next joint project as quickly as youre able.
besides anything else, if this is approached in a businesslike manner, it could be quite fun! and hey..... it might even turn out to be a winner.... after all, its not like it has to be a rip roaring success from the first day is it?
