hi all i'm thinking of trying Push Notifications with my , however all the prices i see on the Push Notifications service provider are limited to the number of Subscribers i have and the higher the number of Subscribers the higher is the price (((

i was wondering can i create same self system for Push Notifications for my self like host it on my vps or something is it even possible ? or it is done only through Pushcrew and pushengage and etc ?

Yes you can, you just need to use available library and develop your own panel (it can be done in a few days if you know PHP or javascript)
 
oh cool then the possibility confirmed )) have to search now if there is something simply automatic like upload unzip and ssh install )))
 
Have you tried onesignal on WordPress.

They have a limit to 30K Subscribers i need more and that will cost more i'm trying to create my own so i can pay less )))

They also sell your subscribers on too, like all other "free" options..

by prices and amount of subs this service looks ok "bulkpush.com " but it's kinda have this sketchy vibe about it *-*?? any ideas ?

I used to make a WP plugin for this but at that time this Push Notification thing have just came out and the demand wasnt that high. Also, at that time SSL wasn't free so not alot of users can use the plugin.

I might remake it soon, maybe for free to BHW members?

I'd paid 4000$ for making my own push notification website as onesignal is paid now. I got this random thread and got to know that there are more free alternatives of it. So, was it a mistake for investing that much money in it?
