I'm looking for a good way to push down negative articles about my client which are on Google Search AND Google News. The negative articles are about a person and not a business so I'm not sure what the best way would be. Any suggestions would be appreciated, escpecially regarding Google News, because newly published postive pages are not going even appear on Google News.

Thanks!

Well, usually, for Google Search, link builders tend to use parasites to publish content that shows the company in a good light. To get ahead of Google News, I suppose you'd have to do something similar, maybe doing a Digital PR campaign showing something else while getting a link to the brand name or the author name in this case.

Depends on the topic of the news article, but

You need to create many prominent comments to appear at the top, the purpose is to let the unwanted comments sink down.
The prominent comments are usually well SEO and full of images, videos and standard content.

ORM can be tricky, but it’s definitely possible to push down negative articles with the right strategy. A mix of high-authority positive content, social profiles, and optimized Web 2.0 properties can work well. Also, leveraging PR placements and SEO tactics like link-building to boost existing positive content can help shift the narrative over time.

I’ve worked on similar cases before, and different approaches work depending on the specifics. I'd be happy to share insights if you’d like to discuss more.

Reputation management is tricky. Have you tried getting the negative sites to remove the content directly? Sometimes a polite, professional request works wonders.
