Push Ads Burning Budget Fast

Push can burn budget fast if the targeting is too broad or the bids are high.
Try lowering bids, cutting bad zones, and tightening the GEO/device targeting.
When I ran push on AdMaven, small bid tweaks made a big difference — once it’s optimized, it stops draining money so quickly.
Start small and scale only what converts.

Just started with push ads, traffic comes fast but quality feels poor. Spent $200 and got almost no conversions. Is there a way to filter better or am I targeting wrong?
The core issue is that push traffic is often "trigger-happy" users who click anything. You need to filter for intent before they even cost you a click. Use a strategy called Intent-Based Dayparting.
Instead of running your campaign 24/7, run it only during the 2-3 hour window after a major, relevant news event in your target geo.
  • Example: If you're promoting a crypto offer, run ads only in the 3 hours after a major Bitcoin price surge or crash.
  • Example: For a diet pill, run ads right after a major national holiday known for over-eating.
This way, you're not just targeting a demographic; you're capturing an audience whose click is driven by a real-world event that makes them highly receptive to your specific message. The traffic quality will be dramatically different.

I think you can improve by blocking low-quality zones and focusing on high-converting publishers only.

Are you tracking the conversion path, check if your landing page is optimised?

Push traffic is 90% bots if you don't filter—blacklist low-performing Site IDs immediately and use a tracker like Voluum or Binom to cut out the junk traffic.
