Push Ads Burning Budget Fast

Push traffic is always super cheap but also super noisy. $200 burned with no conversions usually means the GEO/source quality is off or your funnel doesn’t match the clicker mindset. What helps: blacklist bad sources early, use pre-landers to qualify clicks, and test only Tier1–2 GEOs first. Once you see CTR but no leads, it’s usually a mismatch in offer angle. Which network are you testing on?

Thanks for the insights! I’m currently using PropellerAds, and you're right – the GEO/source quality definitely seems to be a factor. I’ll start blacklisting bad sources earlier. I’ve also noticed that while I’m getting decent CTR, conversions are still low, so I’ll work on adjusting the offer angle and try out pre-landers to filter out bad clicks. I’ll focus more on Tier 1–2 GEOs as well, as you suggested. Appreciate the feedback!

Sounds like the audience might be too broad—have you tested narrowing your targeting to more specific interests?
Good point! I haven't narrowed down my targeting much yet, so I'll definitely experiment with more specific interests. It seems like a broad audience could be bringing in irrelevant clicks. I’ll refine my targeting and see if that helps improve conversion quality. Thanks for the suggestion!

You might want to refine your offer or test different creatives—have you adjusted your messaging based on your traffic?
I haven’t adjusted my messaging yet, but that sounds like a good next step. I’ll test different creatives and try tweaking the offer to see if it resonates better with the traffic. It’s possible my current message isn’t aligning with the clicks I’m getting. I’ll work on that and report back if I see improvements. Appreciate your input!

It could be your targeting or push ad network setup—have you tried filtering by device or geo-location for better targeting?
Great suggestion! I haven’t really filtered by device or specific geo-location yet. I’ll start refining my targeting based on those parameters to see if I can get more relevant clicks. If I focus on specific devices and high-converting regions, it could definitely help improve the traffic quality. I’ll give it a shot and update you on the results.

Quality traffic is key—have you tried running A/B tests to identify what resonates best with your audience?
I haven’t run A/B tests yet, but I’ll definitely start testing different creatives and offers to see what resonates best. Thanks for the tip!

I haven’t tried adjusting my bids yet, but I’ll experiment with lower bids to target more relevant clicks. I’ll see how that impacts the results.

Check if your landing page is optimized—are you tracking the conversion path to see where the drop-off is happening?
I haven’t tracked the conversion path yet, but I’ll start monitoring where the drop-off is happening on the landing page. That should help pinpoint any issues. Appreciate the tip!

It might be the offer or audience mismatch—have you tested different creatives or calls to action?
Thanks for the suggestion! I haven’t tested different creatives or CTAs yet, but I’ll start experimenting with those to see if it aligns better with the audience. Appreciate the help!

Yeah, push ads can drain your budget fast if you’re not careful. Try tightening targeting and testing smaller bids first. I’ve had better control running push with AdMaven — traffic’s cleaner and easier to optimize without blowing cash right away. You running Tier-1 or mixed traffic?
