I doubt there are any bots involved. Let's be honest, anyone who gets a billion views on the most viral video of all time is EASILY going to pull in 1/4 to 1/2 that just by people who are curious.
This one has elements of Gangnam Style so anyone who liked that will like this but seriously, the dude is mildly entertaining. At best.
