PS3 or Xbox??

I dont know what you all are smoking lol.
Xbox 360 is way better.
PS3 copied xbox with there crap online experience.
Xbox has many more high quality games than PS3 and most PS3 can be bought for the 360 anyways. And the PS3 is more expensive.
I cant believe some people actually whine to pay that so expensive $8 bucks a month to play on online. Like the other guy said the 360 also has like a 3 year warranty.

yeah and whenever I make a fire I guess I am copying the cavemen..

Yea but the least PS3 could of done is did make it as good as Xbox Live.
Obviously Halo doesnt suck considering its one of the most popular and bought games for any console ever. I cant name many games after the Halo series that even gets close to that type of online play. Maybe Call of Duty but the 360 also has that.

I have all 3 and can easily say the PS3 is best hands down. However I do love that XBOX 360 has Netflix already installed on it.

nintendo 64 baby!
mario kart FTW!
I reckon a wii is best if your going to do multiplayer with mates, you can get mods and download older snes and 64 games for free. Plus it has zelda..

i prefer ps3 over xbox, halo 3 doesn't seem that wicked compared to other fps games. When halo came out choosing between xbox and ps2 was pretty much halo or gtaIII/vice city. All comes down to your choice, ps3 comes with a blueray player as well...

The problem with lots of games now is that they're too realistic to the point that it's not a fun GAME anymore. The point of a game is to escape from reality for some quick fun.

Man, I can't believe how many say PStree?

XBOX360 and be sure you go 'live'.

I'll be looking for you on the best gaming platform on the planet.

@shade:I dont want both as then i will spend the whole day just playing.:D

i can afford PS3 thats not a problem.
I have myself been an amid PS fan since i was 12.i played since the days of PS1.
The only downside in my opinion to it is the vibration thingy but someone said teh new controllers have them.
Also,t played Xbox, till now but yes it has a few games which long you to play.
Hence i am in battle of wits guys.
Also I want to buy the console specially for playing Resident Evil 5,since its my fav game after god of war,I beleive its on Xbox as well, right??
Guys I am still very confused,pl. help me out.

love my 360...they do have an issue with cooling though. that 3 core processor gets HOT! even one of those little fans tanks? trouble. very cool that my tower (running XP media) can send slide shows (through the WiFi) to the 360 and the 360 can display them on my 42" Vizio!!!! <-(to be honest...getting that set up is NOT easy)

in the end the 2 are pretty much neck and neck...really should get a ps3 so I can play the latest Ratchet and Clank :D

I don't game at all right now, but I've done a lot of research on the 360s. From what I understand, the xbox 360s with the Jasper processors are the ones that stay cool...all the others get really hot, which causes the red wing. The Jaspers wasn't started until late 2008. Just google it if you want more info on this.

As for which is better, I have no opinion because I'm not a gamer as of now.

could well be that the newer 360's are less prone to cook. my first one I got right when they were first available...quit this past august and I got a new one for like $150 + the dead one. just kept my drive. the new 360 has HDMI, the WiFi locks faster, and it plays Dvds without any driver addons....so MSoft has been upgrading a bit. for what it is worth? the blast of heat out the back of the new one is still quite warm.

the only thing that I really do not like with the 360 and PS3 is that both companies could have gone with 1 gig of memory instead of .5 :( still pretty amazing what can be done with what is there.

get a ps3 trust me. theres way to many probs with xboxs to go on about. ie red lights and so on. xbox jamming freezing etc. every game shop ive been in have each said. dont bother as they have alot returned every week to be fixed or refunded. thats what swayed me to buy ps3 and im glad i did.

too many xboxs are breaking these days and its just not worth it. and besides its free online game play..

id pick ps3 any day of the week

if u do get one. send me pm and ill giv you my online id to add

On a money making forum you would not expect to see so many people complain about paying $7.00 a month to play online. I personally love my 360, I guess it's all personal preference.

I was thinking of getting wii, but then I think I would invest money and make more. And then the cycle never stop.

thats why it took me so long to decide that i wanna buy it.

For all those saying the PS3 is better because they force you to pay for the crappy blu-ray polayer in it they are not thinking the purchase through. Within a couple years blu-ray players will be much cheaper and much better than the one in the ps3. How many people here use their PS1 as a CD player? or their PS2 as a DVD player?

Also who needs a bigger HDD than the one in all new 360s? People who download more than they play thats who, probably the same people that DL and read crappy ebooks all day instead of earning money.

PS3 dropped backwards compatability from their console now also so you don't even have the bonus of being able to play PS2 games.

Just get the (MUCH) cheaper 360 as it has more games and the games that are on both look the same or BETTER on the 360(just look this up its true)

I forgot to mention that the 360 has a new motherboard design now which draws less power, gives off less heat, is quieter and is much less prone to fail. With a low failure rate and a 3yr standard warranty I cannot believe people have fallen for the PS3 hype, cos thats all it is.

its not really the money, but the principle of it. you pay for the system and games and various add ons, then have to pay a monthly fee to play online when you already pay for internet access as is. $7 per month isnt much, but $7 too much for something that should be free.

Grew up on PS...so naturally imma PS3 fan. XBOX is cool tho.
