PS3 or Xbox??

what do you guys say?
which one.
i am inclined towards ps3 but the only problem is the remotes lack vibration which i think is great while playing one player games.
so what do you guys suggest?

also,does anyone know the dates when resident evil 5 will be released?

P.S anyone who states Blu-ray as a 'bonus' on the PS3 they just don't realise they are being forced to pay extra for a blu-ray player that will be totally outdated before they even get round to buying there first 10 films.

In a perfect world, you would have both. But if someone put a gun to my head I would choose Xbox. Lately, I have been into my PSP since I'm on the go a lot.

PS3 is overall the better value console, if you buy the 360 you are going to need to add costs such as the wireless adapter a bigger hard drive, and paying to play games online!

Plus all new films will be bluray so the HD-DVD drive in the 360 is pointless.

Plus the 360 has a 33% yearly failure rate! So in 4 years pretty much all 360s will have failed...

Xbox 360 is way better.
PS3 copied xbox with there crap online experience.
Xbox has many more high quality games than PS3 and most PS3 can be bought for the 360 anyways. And the PS3 is more expensive.
I cant believe some people actually whine to pay that so expensive $8 bucks a month to play on online. Like the other guy said the 360 also has like a 3 year warranty.

Graphic better. Can be used as a fully functional PC. No XBOX live costs (so stupid that they charge)

@sharpie349 :: Who cares about a 3yr warranty(while it is nice)... A better and newer game system will be made within 3 years. Game System lifespan's aren't super long as we all know.

I have to say I had a ps3 I had it for 3 months was so dissapointed with it I sold it got myself a 360 which is so much better, the only thing I liked about the ps3 was the fact you could put Linux on it which had it uses but for gaming always the 360, and to all those who go on about extra costs with the 360, i always say Microsoft will shaft us with extra cost but at least they are honest about it.

ya ps3s internet experience is lagging behind xbox, but theyre working on it, like when ps3 home comes out ps3 will be far ahead. I bought a ps3 instead of a 360 mainly cos ive always liked sony, i had an xbox before and it was a chunky bastard and the games, didnt like them. It died after 2 years, whereas i bought my ps2 at the end of 2001 and nothing has gone wrong with it. Ever. And it has fallen off the tv a few times due to kids. My ps3, it's only been about a year and it's still going strong. Plus you got games like killzone 2, gt5, and ffxiii. And sure the ps3 is huge, it's still sexier than the 360. ps3 ftw.

I have ps3 and xbox 360. I play xbox 360 wayyy more. I mean come one...halo 3 and gears of war 1&2 = lifetime gaming. What does playstation have...killzone 2 and mgs4, great games, but i think halo and gears have way more replay value

lol no offense but lol. 1) Halo Wars (and halo for that matter) sucks! 2) GTA game I will agree on 3) Xbox live, this isn't a game lol. PS3 online?


I say if you can afford it get a PS3 as PS3 has a shitload of good games coming out (already out). If it was earlier id say xbox cuz it had better games but I wouldn't say that anymore.. Plus XBOX freezes and has quite a bit of problems from time to time. I have many friends who say the xbox scratches up their disks and shit to the point of it not working anymore.

Hands down, PS3 is the better piece of hardware.

So PS3 wins hardware, but what about software?
This is a much closer battle, but I would say PS3 again (I would have said XBOX a year ago). It's basically a battle of the exclusives.. and what does xbox have? Halo. Halo is gay, hence Xbox doesnt really have anything the ps3 doesnt have as well..

So PS3 wins hardware by a loooooong shot, software battle is close, but id give it to PS3 by a bit.. so it basically comes down to difference between the price and the difference in the hardware.
