is there an update to the chrome edition of this cause i cant seem to find link in all the replies Pm me please with link if it is ready for chrome

We will update the proxy tool for Chrome later this year, as we are focusing on upgrading Proxy tool addon for Firefox first. And, you can change the http referrer to emulate Chrome in Firefox browser.

I'm having some issues using my proxies which require a login, what is the correct format?

username:p[email protected]

Is that right?

Thanks for the great plugin.

How about an option to important a text file from the computer every X seconds. Every time this list is important, it will replace the current proxy list. This way we could check IPs ourselves and keep the text file always updated.

Copying the best ideas from Foxy Proxy would be great such as regex on a url for certain proxies [:

This is a great tool, thanks.

But how to set it to always use proxy when I open Firefox?

Currently it doesn't remember my settings and when I close Firefox and reopen, proxy is not used.

Just enter IP : Port in the list or proxy text box (see right bottom)

If you can not see the bottom status bar, enter CTRL - \ keys

We are working on upgrading Proxy Tool to include the username/password for every IP address as part of over a dozen of improvements. It will be ready for testing in the next 1-3 days.

Stay tuned.

Hi,

First, check to make sure that the bottom toolbar is activated.

Second, check the settings (see http://proxylist.co/proxytool.php - scroll down) to make sure that the settings are saved.

You can find good help details here:

Hope it helps.

I have downloaded this tool and while trying to use the free daily proxies, my browser will not load any websites. It just times out and says there is no connection, but as soon as I turn the tool off then everything works again. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

Big question:

Where do you get these "free proxies" from? These proxies from "free sites" do not always work.

You will need to get the working (that is already tested) from well-known private proxy providers (here on BHW) or Proxylist.co.

Hope it helps.

Proxy Tool FF addon 1.17 version is still in development - due to the complication when dealing with EverCookie (which I want to add the 3rd deletion, as part of 3 cookie deletions: Flash, Sites and EverCookies).

Several more days of work to get the Proxy Tool FF addon ready for beta testing.

Until then, please stay tuned.

Due to my busy schedule, Proxy Tool FF addon 1.17 version will not be ready until the end of October 2011. However, I have updated the Proxy Tool FF Addon help page to make it easy for anyone to be able to follow the instructions, including on how to turn on the add on bar at the bottom.

See http://proxylist.co/proxytool.php for updated details.

Until then, please stay tuned.

hey, plz add smart phones user agents with randomize option.
its a humble request

Yup...that is the part of the major upgrade plan. We hope to get the overdue proxy tool 1.17 version released by the end of October with tons of features/improvements based on everyone's request.

Later on..I want to develop the new Proxy Tool for FF addon for mobile phone with Firefox browser in it - which may happen later this year, depending on my plate, filled with interesting/ongoing projects.

Until then, please stay tuned.

Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to develop this - it looks to me like you're providing the type of support expected from a paid service even though you're releasing it for free!

Please go ahead and send me the link for 1.17, I can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for the great tool!

Had a few questions, but looks like its all sorted out itself.

Thanks again, your tool is awesome, can't live without it. :)
